Car show in Madison (warning: obvs very big photo dump)

Now that I have the Jeep back, I’m feeling less grumpy (other than Hertz’s idiotic policy), so I’ll share some pics from a car show I caught Saturday morning before things went south.

(For anyone unfamiliar with Indiana geography, which I hope is most of you, that’s a weak joke. Madison is as far south as you can get without reaching Kentucky. Sorta. The Ohio River flows southwest so you can get farther south while staying in Indiana but damn this dead horse isn’t responding to my flogging so anyway.)

Let’s start with the sole Jeep. It’s depressing how few Jeeps I ever find at car shows, but at least this was a beauty.

The good news is that Madison is a haven for classic convertibles, and they were well-represented.

And some classic trucks.

And a very cool VW.

And finally some dribs and drabs.

And as a bonus, something I spotted in a parking lot last night.
