One of my friends is looking to buy a new truck. As such, I have taken to recommending every vehicle I see that I am sure he doesn't want. Recently, we saw an Eagle Summit Wagon. As much as I wanted to tell him to buy one instead of a truck, I couldn't because I had no idea what the heck we were looking at.

Turns out, what we were looking at was a badge engineered Mitsubishi RVR/Colt Vista Wagon. It looks like someone thought, "Hey, let's take a minivan and get rid of all the room inside. People would love this!" They gave it AWD though, and apparently a small, light, mostly reliable, (now) super cheap hatchback with AWD is something that people in the North really have a thing for.

The more I scrolled through Google my research, the more I found out that people who own this car really love it. Maybe the super-micro minivan wasn't the worst segment to badge engineer into creation.
