It’s a gorgeous thing. Croatian-made, from the 75 year old company Pastor. They call it a 1930 Dress. It’s real leather, too! I got it as a birthday gift.
I’m probably gonna mount it in the trunk somewhere, or maybe between the front seats if I can find the room, which is tricky. I really wanna show it off and not hide it.
They have a bunch more of them, in different sizes, for different applications (boat stuff, electric fires, etc.). The packaging is gorgeous, too. It makes a great gift.
Here’s the company website if you’re interested. I don’t know if they ship to the states, you can send an email and ask. If someone really wants it bad, I can maybe help you out, they’re based here in Zagreb.
Any other ideas on mounting it? I was thinking of showing it off like they do with airride systems, on the back shelf (once I get one, it’s missing now), but I think it’s gonna be too heavy to stay there.
It does come with a bracket to hold it in place, I forgot to take a pic of it. Do you have interesting fire extinguishers? Let me see ‘em!
P.S. Twingo updates and to-do checklist coming soon. He’s hon-hon-ing away happily and says L’Hi! Comment “Merci Twingo!” for good fortune and fire-free motoring.
