Here's one from last weekend's 100 Acre Wood rally. These guys had a pretty lousy day 1, as you can tell by the state of their engine valves. This is a big problem for a team with one of the smallest budgets in rally. They managed to fix the car to run for day 2, then they had a great idea. Look for donations during day 2's parc expose, using the valves as both an explanation for why they need assistance and as paperweights for the money. I took a look at their car toward the end and I'd guess they raised at least $100. And they thanked the fans later by absolutely launching their little VW on the cattle guard jump.
