Today’s cooking tip: garlic smashing.
There’s no need to go full Goodfellas on your garlic if you have a mortar and pestle. Just mash that shit up. For extra flavor smash in some herbs. I murdered some rosemary and sage along with my garlic for the potatoes I made this morning. Another tip is to not add the garlic until your dish is done cooking. Remove from heat, pile the garlic on top, then mix it in allowing the hear of the food to cook it for a few minutes.
