I’ve found an ‘89 Volvo 240 Wagon, with the pop-up 3rd row seats, with no rust but in need of power steering fixing, an exhaust eventually, and hopefully just an AC recharge. It’s about 6.5 hours away though, I’m thinking of making the trip down tomorrow to possibly buy it, but it’s not a manual, which I wanted. There’s a 740 Turbo wagon with a manual almost the same distance in the other direction. First one is ~$1400, second is ~$2000. Should I bail on going down there to look at the one I will need to do work on and try to figure something out for the other? I like the 240 styling better but I could live with the 740 for sure. GAHHHHHH!
