Kudos to Delta for making a policy and sticking with it.
The plane took off from Detroit for a flight to Atlanta, and when the passengers refused to comply with the instructions from the flight attendant to wear a mask, the pilot turned the plane around.
Delta is also calling BS on people who claim to have a medical condition that keeps them from wearing a mask. If a passenger claims an exemption, they must complete a telephone interview by STAT-MD, a company that “provides inflight emergency consultation as well as fitness-to-fly ground screening.”
The way I see it, this is more than Delta ensuring the safety of other passengers. They are ensuring the health of their entire business.
