It was just my little girl and I on Saturday. That normally means pancakes, swim class, a little time in the “SHOP!” and a little time “OUTSIDE!” (as she likes to yell). However she wasn’t feeling great so we had pancakes and watched “Masha and the Bear” for a little while. Then she said “nap?”... Yes, I am one of those lucky parents who’s child not only naps regularly but requests them when she is tired (for now).

Knowing she would be out for 4-5 hours, I setup my mobile workshop out back so that I could cut all of the wood for the child sized workbench I’m building for her. I set up my inside shop for teeny tiny cars! So while I’m waiting for things like paint to strip, or dry I can be busy cutting wood.

First of all, paint stripper is nasty stuff. However, it works incredibly well! I was getting ready to order a bunch of “helping hands” via Amazon. Then I saw a box of alligator clips and looked around for something to mount them on. A few strokes with a dull knife down a dowel makes the perfect ghetto paint holders!

Anyway here are some pics. I’m waiting on a can of BMW 078 Jade Green before I can paint the 02, honestly I need a lot of paints. I also ordered some axles for 1:64 models off of of ebay. So I’m kind of at a stand still until I receive the axles and get more paints.

Can anyone hook ya boi up with authorship on LALD?

I also put up a new mailbox this weekend and it came with a silver flag. I wanted a red one.
