I joined my local YMCA today!
I'm planning on doing three 5k's his year with my girlfriend. While they are all fun runs and not at all serious, I wanted to be able to at least finish them without putting myself in the hospital. I'm not exactly the healthiest person on the planet. I haven't been doing any real exercise since I graduated high school last year. So I want to start slow, of course. I'm excited. Not only will I hopefully feel better, it'll give me something to do after work.
