Dirty, As All Racecars Should Be

Dropped by to see the plaid porsche post-Daytona. Second year running now that they’ve finished with a result not representative of their effort. Bloody top job for leading the GTD class into the night and congrats to the team for starting the season strong. Won’t be until July that I get to see this babe in person again, so I made the most of this brief stint in the showroom before she goes off to Sebring.

It’s become an annual thing now where I grab a photo of the team diecast with the team car. Unfortunately for me, they released the poutine plaid before the plaid with white stripes which I originally wanted, so that’s a slight bummer (note: the blue life storage plaid casting is also available so get those orders in if you want it). Ignoring the fact that they also changed title sponsors, but very glad to be able to continue the trend.

A while back Porsche did a mass shakedown of several 935 clients at the Algarve International Circuit (Portimao) and luckily for us, Pfaff had one on order. The only exposed carbon car to have supposedly left the factory, it was a treat to ogle even if the positioning was less than par.
