Guy in the Denver area is lucky to be alive after being rear ended on his motorcycle by a driver that admitted to looking at his phone at the time.

The only reason my phone even leaves the house with me is that my wife used to give me crap when she’d try and call and then she’d hear it ring somewhere in the house. Now, it’s usually my music, but my son always asks to be the DJ in the back seat. I have most of my music on a USB drive that always stays plugged in.

The driver was cited for careless driving. If you ask me, there should be some kind of reckless endangerment charge for someone that admits to not freaking paying attention and staring at a tiny ass screen instead of driving. Distracted driving should at least carry DUI level of penalty.
