The rear end made some strange noises.

I was informed that said noises were from a turbo helping the car make about 475HP at the wheels and a rear end which has been reworked a bit to help put it all down with ease. There was a twin plate clutch involved too, which was a bit tricky at first (because it acts like a normal clutch for the first ~40% then immediately jumps to full engagement), but once I figured that out and got going, the going was very, very quick. I only did a few quick highway loops with the owner so I don’t have a whole lot to comment on, but I can at least confirm that this sort of combination is just about the right amount of silly.
