She’s mated to the tranny now. Oil filter is stuck on the old engine so i’ll need to buy a new one instead of being able to reuse it.

And i think i found the reason for the ocassionally bad idle(cracked gasket somehow between PCV vacuum feed and atmosphere). Looks like i had gotten it misaligned when i put this engine together, causing it to discord and split. Oh well.

I don’t think lack of lubrication will be the death of this alternator...
