Got back from taking a shower to see Brendon Hartley not quite clear a GTEAM Porsche 911. Similar indecent to Allan Mcnish’s at Le Mans in 2011 with the rear of the prototype coming into contact with the front tire of the GT. The 919 was tipped onto its side by the 911, but the fin and the holes in the fenders did their job to keep the car from lifting of the ground or tipping onto its roof.
Then once the yellow was thrown the #8 Audi became stuck in sixth, leaving it stranded on track. Currently an Audi technician is working on discharging the hybrid system so that the marshals can move the car (I leaned today that carbon fiber is conductive).
