EVO magazine's Jethro Bovingdon got to drive the Corvette Stingray Z51 on wet UK back roads. The Stingray, with the Z51 package as standard on European models, preformed well. Though Bovingdon complained about the car's lack of body control and inconsistent brake pedal feel.
He liked the car's genuine engine noise, the 'Vette's surprising amount of grip, and the fact that Chevy stuck with the manual transmission even though competitors have long since abandoned it for paddles. A full test of the car is in the works for later in the year.
