I haven’t used paste wax before, so I wasn’t sure quite what to expect. After a bunch of rain and cold, I finally carved out a couple hours to wash and wax the S2000 yesterday.
I used a moistened microfiber pad for application. Compared to the liquid wax I used prior, it’s hard to see going on, and I wasn’t sure whether I had used the right amount. Since the instructions call for a thin coat, I presumed there was enough, and applied two coats.
Some of the lighter scratches are hidden with the wax, and I notice particularly that the third brake light feels extremely smooth. There are still rough spots on the paint, as I did not have time to clay it yet.
Driving in light rain this morning, the water droplets seemed almost to fly off the paint, instead of just rolling off the way they used to.
Seems good so far!
