Not to be outdone, the Louisiana Air National Guard will have their own flyover today.

“Officials with the Air Force say the flyover will include two B-52 Stratofortresses assigned to the 2nd Bomb Wing and F-15 Strike Eagles from the 159th Fighter Wing based at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base in New Orleans.”

Bonus pic of a private pilot with the right idea. I first spotted him flying north toward Baton Rouge, five minutes later he was flying south. He may have been turned back by BTR air traffic control.
