So the radio came, and I put it in. Yay! Sound! But somehow, the illumination circuit got grounded or something, and I didn't notice it. Wait, that's wrong...because I went to get dinner, and the sun set and it's dark. Go to turn the lights on and no dash lights. Blown fuse.
Who the hell at Ford thought it was a good idea to have *every* *single* *dash illumination* load on a single circuit? I literally had no idea how fast I was going, not because the speedometer didn't work, but because there's no backlight.
Thank God for Wal-Mart being open at odd hours. One 15A fuse later, and it's cured.
