The first picture shows the flight deck on a late-1950s vintage KC-130F Hercules. This particular aircraft made 29 touch-and-go landings and 21 full-stop landings on the USS Forrestal in 1963.

Below is the flight deck of a C-130J Super Hercules which took its maiden flight in 1996. Among its many updates, the Super Herk features new Rolls-Royce turboprops with composite scimitar propellers, digital avionics and reduced crew requirements.

The Hercules is one of only a handful of aircraft to surpass 50 years of service, and has the longest production run of any aircraft in history. The Super Hercules is still in production, with over 300 aircraft built and delivered as of 2013.
