This video is not new (duh it was made in 1936) but I just found it for the first time today. You may wish to mute the audio as it is just weird industrial post-modern music, but it made it more watchable for me.
It's footage of assembly of what I think is the Chevrolet Standard. What is fascinating for me is the safety or lack thereof. Seeing a fellow literally standing a foot between two pinch points that would kill. The massive size of some of the presses is a marvel and I like the 4 buttons that must be pressed (two men, two hands) as a safety feature. Makes me wonder how may arms were lost before they installed that.
