Of course the forecast is for rain most of the day, but we’ll make the most of it.

The drift course is famous for high speed entries. Last event I drove there I was pretty cautious and only took it up to 90. I plan to shoot for 100 tomorrow if I can get some dry pavement. Otherwise my rainy track entries might be at about 30.

More later.

UPDATE:

It rained on and off the entire day. But I had a blast none-the-less. For one short spell in the late morning the track dried up a bit, to maybe what you’d call damp, and I got up to 80 mph for two entries. But the rain came back and that pushed me back down to about 60.

Here are a few pictures my son caught of me in the infield, the slower part of the course.
