No, I didn’t have it for breakfast but for dinner a couple of nights ago. Flank steak marinaded in a Japanese-style BBQ sauce (kind of like teriyaki). Couldn’t get a good crust because of the liquid from the marinade but luckily it reduced down to a nice glaze on the steak.

The cut was uneven so it didn’t cook evenly, but good enough - it was a bit closer to medium at the thinner part but a nice med-rare throughout the rest of it. Good enough for me.

I think I had a side of macaroni salad with it. Give the Japanese flavour of the sauce, it would’ve been nice if I had some picked daikon radish on the side. All in all, a very satisfying meal.
