I previously mentioned the awesomeness that is Gwinnett Meet, which was the largest legal weekly car enthusiast get-together in the southeast US until this indefinite hiatus brought on for unknown reasons. https://www.facebook.com/Gwinnett.Meet Anyway, a large amount of the guys from it have been meeting unofficially at the Kroger in Duluth at the corner of Old Norcross and Steve Reynolds (close to Pull-A-Part Atlanta North). They show up every Thursday at around 8:30 to 9, and I know this because I always go to dinner at a pizza place in the same plaza for trivia at around the same time. I've never been able to stick around the whole time... until tomorrow. Finally, my parents will take my mom's van and leave my dad's car to me, so I'll stick around as long as possible. If any of you guys who are in the area want to stop by, go for it! Last week there were about 25 cars by the time I left at 9:30, and there were dozens more I saw on their way. So it is a pretty big deal.

That said, it IS still an unofficial meet. I can't guarantee that it will remain civilized, and I can't guarantee that the cops won't show. I'm going to park as close to the store as I can, since the cars tend to gather closer to the pizza place on the other side. I'd advise you to do the same if you show up. Worst case scenario, I don't want to look like a part of the group. But of course, that's all precautionary. I don't think it will be a problem since they've been coming here every week already. And if you do show up, I'm driving a dark blue Kia Spectra with a Road Atlanta front license plate if you want to say hi.

Yes, I will try to take pictures.
