I’m proud to say I came up with this myself, although I’m sure I’m not the first. Hell it could be common knowledge for more educated drivers for all I know.  

If you concentrate on feeling the area where your foot is on the pedal, versus concentrating on your foot. You’ll be much smoother at everything. I’ve been making a conscious effort at it the last few days and it’s made my shifts, in high rpms, much more consistent. As well as coming off the throttle into high speed turns much smoother.

Don’t worry. When I become famous after Red Bull begs me to coach their F1 drivers, I’ll remember you opponauts!
