I just replaced the fuel pump last weekend. After doing a litany of other work to try to solve my hard starting/rough idle I think I’ve finally conquered it. The old pump wasn’t holding pressure, and the new one works so well that it exposed some leaky fuel line connections (yay).

It now starts after less than a second of cranking which is something I’ve never had in the 3 years I’ve owned it. Literally I don’t even hear the starter working before the thing roars to life.

The new headers sound great, the revamped ignition system is sparky af, and its the first time since I’ve owned it that I’m not nervous to drive it somewhere. Life is good.
