Modifying your car in the game actually made an audible difference in addition to improving performance, which I was staggered by. In fact, some engine notes sound shockingly more accurate to their real life counterparts than they do in Gran Turismo 6. I mean, Subarus actually rumble!

And there's a Fozzie in this fucker!

For the time it almost feels as if there was no compromise. It feels complete. That's not something I could ever say about 5 or 6, which just feel like soulless husks.


It remains my favorite Gran Turismo and one of my favorite racing games of all times.
