I found out where the USAF is keeping all the still-flyable Phantom II's. This is a line up of F-4's at Holloman AFB in New Mexico, and sadly, they are being used as target drones. The Phantom entered US service in 1960 and had a stellar career, spanning from Vietnam to the Gulf War. It was the only airframe to be used by both the USAF Thunderbirds and the USN Blue Angels. While the Phantom is no longer being flown actively, its service continues in the training of new pilots.
