If your Ford had a Matthew McConaughey, it would be a Lincoln

I have a free round-trip flight anywhere in the US, where should I go?

Only real parameter is that it has to be in January, which kind of sucks since most of the country will be frozen or wet.

Any recommendations? Open to literally anything. I was thinking fly out and do an ice rally-school ffor a few days but I don’t know if I want to spend that much. Actually, I know I don’t want to spend that much.

I also considered San Jose, solely because they have the best pizzaria on the planet. The town itself seemed pretty boring though.

Another thought is British Columbia for outdoorsy things, but, uh.... That doesn’t use the above ticket as it’s not domestic. Boooooo.

I would love to get into snowboarding this year, but considering I’ve done it so infrequently I’m not sure if there’s much point flying somewhere amazing when even the local spots are an absolute blast for someone of my limited skill level.

I’ve never been to the east coast. Sounds somewhat miserable in January though.

I want to do a camping/hiking/atnional parks adventure.... But ditto the whole January thing above.

Hawaii would probably be the best bang-for-buck. That said I was kind of hoping to save my first Hawaii trip for the next time I head to Thailand, because crossing the pacific in one go sucks. Thailand isn’t until April though, and.... I need something before April. Every fiber of my being is screaming at me to leeeeeeeeave town and it’s only October :(

Bahamas is another idea. I’m unsure if I can fly to US territories for free tho

Thoughts?
