Here, have some pics of the old car in its original (well, original to me) trim.

We promptly took out the rest of the snap-crackled-popped dash out of there because racecar. That foam is stupid heavy.

Ample storage for useful things! (Like Puffalumps and purses.) We did a little de-manging of the interior and painted it white for coolness as well as better "oops, I dropped something" visibility.

(Like, seriously—the cool shirt box was exactly the right size.)

I always wanted a red Porsche. I got a red door! Now I'm going to get a completely red replacement 944 this weekend, thanks to one of the commenters who posted on the poor Porschelump wreck post. Weeeeeee're baaaaaaack...

The last team that ran it was much taller than me, so this is how I took a test drive in it.

This little problemo was fixed with an OEM fuel cap. The loltozone replacement wasn't making a good enough seal.

This was the previous team's fix to the lack of glass dome weight on the rump. That just made it tail happy to me. So, there was lots of giggling. Lots.

Then we took it out. With the extra weight pulled from the nose (HVAC system, inner door skins, dash) to match the lack of weight (Gold's Gym, glass dome or otherwise) in the rear, it was pretty balanced.

Anyway, is it tomorrow yet? I want the new car.
