Just found out last night that two of the three A-10's I was the Assistant Dedicated Crew Chief on, and the only one I was the Dedicated Crew Chief on (pictured), have been retired to AMARG. I knew it was going to happen (278 had upwards of 12,500 flight hours on it when I saw it in Olympia, WA a few summers ago), but the amount of time, blood and sweat I spent on them, it still hits me in the feels.
Goodnight, girls. You fought well, and treated me pretty good while I wrenched on you.
