My favourite band is the Barenaked Ladies, my favourite sitcom is Corner Gas, my favourite city is Vancouver, and one of my favourite foods is poutine, my favourite sport (non-motorsport, of course) is hockey, and my favourite car is probably the Acadian Canso.

But I don’t say aboot, nobody in Canada actually says aboot, there are outher ou words that are pronounced with the oo sound by people with thicker accents, but usually not about. And the stereotypes are slightly wrong about “eh”, Canadians say it, a lot, but not after every word, it’s used mostly as an inquisitive. Ex: Nice weather out today, eh?
