I just happened to have the Indy Lights race from Indianapolis on for background noise today. I was on my laptop doing some work when the announcers started sounding excited about the action on the track. I looked up just in time to see three cars come through the final turn side by side with one other following closely behind. As the group neared the finish line, Peter Dempsey came from behind the three-wide pack and edged his way into contention on the far right side. Just as the four cars crossed the finish line, Dempsey passed Colombian driver Gabby Chaves and won by .0026 of a second!
I've never watched an Indy Lights race but that was an example of better racing than I've seen and many other series.
