The first two days we spent just walking around the manufacturing facility. The company I work for makes industrial electrical switchgear. Some of this stuff can handle up to 7kA O.O We've been checking out the various stages in the process and talking to the everyday people who build them. Today we got into helping out in a couple of the stages just mostly doing mindless hand work. Pretty soon I guess later this week after we get our company laptops we will start doing time studies to figure out how long a couple different stages are taking in the process. Overall it's going great and in two days I made a week's pay from my old job at the hobby shop. Thanks to everyone who wished me luck before my first day!
