If your Ford had a Matthew McConaughey, it would be a Lincoln

Is GM going to miss the Van Revolution?

It seems that Detroit is going the European van route, what with the upcoming Ford Transit:

And the Ram ProMaster.

But is GM missing the boat? As of right now I see no plans for GM to go the route of Ford and Chrysler by building here or importing its European big-box van, the Opel/Vauxhall Vivaro.

I mean, the Vauxhall isn't exactly a looker, but then again neither are the others. Are we resigned to the fact that GM is going to stick with a 1996 design, albeit freshened in 2003, while its competitors become fresher and more efficient?
