It was a good culinary day

Took the wife out for her birthday to one of our favorite spots. It’s a husband and wife owned Jamaican restaurant and rum bar. They have over 100 different rums and make their own drink tinctures.

I got the braised pork belly served with a guava reduction and butter bean mash. We shared scallops as an appetizer. Great place that has a nice relaxed vibe with great drinks and good old school ska, reggae, and rocksteady playing all night. If you’re ever in Phoenix check out The Breadfruit.
