And I mean that in a literal sense. Due to wild santa ana winds, its hotter right now near work than it is in Death Valley. You know, the place known for it’s 120+ degree weather and desert climate? Versus coastal Ventura County, known for its 65-70 degree summers and Mediterranean climate.


I only had looked this up because I am trying to make a trip to Death Valley this winter since I havent been yet and it would probably be some nice winter camping there. Just found this peculiarity of California weather interesting.
