What do you do when you go to another business, like the grocery store, do you just park in the middle of the aisle? Do you park at the front of the store? No? Do you park in a parking spot? Why would you do that?

People are so fucking stupid I am actually in shock. For some reason, when people visit my shop for a smog check, they just leave their car in the middle of the lot, NOT IN A PARKING SPOT! They will block the shops next to me or the rest of traffic in the lot, and they don’t see anything wrong with it.

Oh and that’s when I have cars in the bays. If there are no cars in the shop people just pull into the shop... WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?!?!?! Where did they get the idea that it was okay to just pull into the shop??? I know of no independent shop that tells their customers to just pull in if they see an empty bay.

But it gets better. When there are cars in the shop, people park directly behind that car, as if I have some magical second door which to drive the first car out, like a drive through. I’ll let you in on a secret: I don’t have a second door. When some asshole parks directly behind the car I’m working on, I have to first move that car INTO A PARKING SPOT, and then go move the car I was working on.

But the best part of all this is people’s dumb question: “Is my car alright there?” If you have to ask that question, then I KNOW you know it’s not, otherwise you wouldn’t have to ask. You don’t walk into the grocery store after parking in a parking spot and ask an employee if your car is alright there, do you? Nope, because you know it’s supposed to go in a parking spot.

For those that love pictures, the lead picture is the view of the lot. The green arrow is my shop, which is two cars wide. Next to me is another shop (which people fail to recognize because god forbid we look up at a sign), and the blue line is another shop, and people will park in front of it all the time, blocking them completely...

All the orange lines represent where people “park” every day, regardless of whether there are other cars or not. I’ve even seen people “park” in front of empty parking spots...

I don’t have the patience for this shit.

My magical drive through was closed then.
