OK, my throat is sore from screaming in frustration. I bought a $3 game and then found a better version a few minutes later combined with another game for $6 (the other game was $6 by itself, so it made sense to buy the bundle even though I didn’t know what the price was until I went through multiple steps to get the damn thing in my shopping cart so I could see the fucking price). All I want to do is return the original $3 purchase since I bought the same game (with tons of DLC) again a few minutes later.
No option to return it. No option to communicate with a human. I find a few email addresses, but they all reject the messages. I can’t find any chat option. The customer service phone number goes through a whole spiel about how they can’t do jack shit and then hangs up on you.
Some time ago I must have changed the password on my Amazon account and none of the ones I try seem to work. Every time I need to do something I have to go through a series of Captchas and questions and get a one-time password, even when trying to go to my account settings so that I can change my fucking password.
But everytime I do this, regardless of where I want to go, I get an error saying that the page I want doesn’t exist. WTF? It doesn’t matter what page I go to I get the same answer. I logged out, and now I can’t log back in even after jumping through all of the hoops.
Is it me or are they having website issues? Are they overwhelmed right now or are they just pricks? I cancelled the one order I placed after the stay at home order and have been doing most of my buying on eBay, and, TBH, I don’t really miss Amazon and I suspect that many others will feel the same way when this is all over. Fuck the fucking fuckers. Fuck.
