I was searching for a code to model some properties of bianry stars when I stumbled upon this:

PHOEBE stands for PHysics Of Eclipsing BinariEs. It is a tool for modeling eclipsing binary stars based on photometric, spectroscopic, interferometric and/or polarimetric data.

PHOEBE is pronounced fee-bee.

PHOEBE can model a Ferrari eclipsing a UFO.

PHOEBE is written by a team of professional astronomers.

So I'm not the only gearhead astronomer :)
