Last sunday, july the 3rd, while most of the guys on here were either getting drunk or sorting out their fireworks, I headed out with a couple of friends to one of the biggest events regarding Japanese classic cars: Japanese Classic Sunday.

The event is quite big within the Japanese car community in Holland and outside of it, with quite a lot of visitors from Belgium and Germany.

For me, it was the first time and boy oh boy, have they made me into a pilgrim. I love classic cars, no matter the brand, but I do have a soft spot for classics from the country of the rising sun.

With a 240z being quite high on the list of cars to buy while car shopping a year ago, you might say I was close to owning on myself. Unfortunately, the local government decided it was a great idea to tackle the environment problems in Rotterdam with a so-called ‘Green Zone’, which prohibits petrol cars older than 1992 from entering the city. Out the window my 240z plans went.

Anyways, without furder ado, here are some pictures of the event, made by a friend of mine. (I have a lot more, there were some very awesome cars there, if more is wanted/needed, just let me know).
