Jeep working on BRZ/FR-S Fighter

Big news coming from Jeep today. Reports state that Jeep will be building a vehicle to dethrone the BRZ/FR-S. This vehicle will pull parts from the bins of Fiat, Dodge, SRT, Chrysler, and Jeep. The vehicle will be a four seater based on an extended Fiat 500 Abarth platform. It will feature a body similar to the Jeepster concept previously shown at multiple auto shows. It will most likely be powered by the 2.4 litre Tigershark engine producing around 185 horsepower and 170 pound feet of torque. Chrysler will do work on the interior, the goal being to have a luxurious cabin. SRT will further tune the engine to make it produce around 215 horsepower and they will also tune the suspension. The vehicle will feature a removable hard top similar to that on a Jeep Wrangler. It will have standard RWD with the option of an AWD system. Expect the price to be around $25,500.
