My M37 tranny is a fishing expedition right now, but thanks to the good ol US Govt they made tons of surplus parts, so I got a new (1950's) preserved tranny top from Midwest Military. My expeditions will be much shorter, granny withstanding. Apparently there are springs within these rods and it is a clusterfuck to rebuild. SO you can get a new old stock whole top for $140 or pay $400 to rebuild it. Down the road I may buy another top just in case for the future. Also brake drums, apparently getting low, but I am probably doing disks on the front and I can always covert the rear later.
