Late night epiphany...

So I was just using a bathroom with one of those automatic-flushing toilets that flushes a gazillion times while you’re still using it and then doesn’t flush when you actually need it to. I was in there for the long haul because... um... cake, so the excessive flushing was getting pretty annoying. And then my epiphany came... The sensor flushes the toilet when it detects movement, right? So all you have to do is convince it that you’re always sitting perfectly still. Therefore, the solution is simply to drape a piece of toilet paper over the sensor so it can’t see you. Then when you’re done, you simply remove the paper, the sensor detects that movement and flushes, and you’re done. This totally works and I don’t know why I didn’t think of it sooner... TL;DR, blindfold the toilet to prevent excessive flushes.
