Had a very strange day today, but not a lot of it was Oppo worthy, so here’s the Pizza Planet toYOta from WALL-E in particular (here’s a fun little trivia piece I just learned. While the truck is modeled after a Toyota pickup, the actual truck is a “1978 Gyoza Mark VII Lite Hauler pickup truck.” That’s the official name, at least that’s what it says on the Pixar fandom wiki).
Me, my roommate, and his girlfriend just finished watching that, and it makes me a bit peeved that a trash collecting robot has more charm than me... and has had more action.
In other, less movie related news: I had a dream last night that I’m only just now remembering (apparently it takes me 24 hours to actually remember stuff... huh...)
I was parked outside someone’s house and left the key in the ignition, then closed the door of my car. For one reason or another, the car locked itself (my car should never do that with the key in the ignition unless prompted to do so by pushing the button on the door). I knew it was locked, but panicked because... well... I had no clue what to do. Looking back, I would’ve broken a window if worse came to worst, but since my car had no apps built in or phone numbers that can remotely unlock it, I just went on my merry way.
A little later in the dream, still panicked, I go back out to the car and the engine bay is completely on fire. Still running, and on fire. Not a winning combo. It was specifically on fire around my timing belt, more under the engine. Maybe I dreamed up an engine fault I never even knew about. Regardless, I woke up in a cold sweat cause I just watched the thing I care about the most die in front of me. Whether that’s a person or a car, it’s not a good dream to have.
Anyways, here’s a real life Pizza Planet truck for your troubles. Goodnight Oppo.
