So for my next car I’m getting a GPS tracker for it. This model also has a kill switch that can be remotely activated. The company says it goes on the starter system. But since my car’s a manual it could just be push started (By the time I used the kill switch it would already be stolen.) So my question is, would it be legal to put the killswitch on the ignition or fuel system? I’m assuming there would be some legal quandary about let’s say, I kill the car will they’re driving and they rear end someone. Could I be held at fault for that since I killed the car? Or is it all on them since they stole it?
Also hit me with recommendations for aftermarket car alarms.
