I’ve come to the conclusion that I can’t presume the 2005 Focus will keep running forever, and I also tend to research for an extremely long time before buying.

Some sort of truck is on the list, it would be nice to stop towing our popup with the Sienna. It will pull it, but I’m maxing the towing capacity. As well, Mrs. Comes Over would rather I not do stuff like haul plywood or lumber in it.

Just on “something like that’d be nice”, I looked at Colorado/Canyon (new version). However, just in searching autotrader, there’s not much out there in 4WD for less than 30K, even used. However, it’s not hard to find a couple year old F-150 for less than $30 with not oo many miles on them, even. Not sure I want a full size, it’ll be a big change in garage space from a Focus to a F-150, but I’m also not sure I want to pay a premium for a Colorado/Canyon.

Anything I should know about late model F-150's? I think some of the ones I was seeing are the V-6 Ecoboost, which I’d probably be fine with.
