We all know that a person's car choice will often reflect on their personality. How about we try to do it the other way? I'll give you a description of a person and you'll try to come up with a perfect car for them.

You may post cars that are reasonably within reach for the described person, or ones that aren't but seem like they would suit them perfectly (although I'd prefer you stick to the former choice). Also, try to stick to mass produced cars. I know that hot rods are cool, but I'd rather you keep it within reason.

Person 1:

A 22 year old male, 6'1", average looking, longish dark brown hair. He's been recently diagnosed with an illness that will take his life within 10 years, however so far he feels absolutely fine. He's currently in college, but he's seriously considering dropping out as he sees little point in pursuing further education at this point. The guy lives and breathes car, he spends most of his free time on car sites/forums, craigslist, driving around his area's used car lots and dealerships, etc. He has extensive theoretical knowledge about cars, but he's never really had the opportunity to really get his hands dirty. He comes from a family that was once rather wealthy, however their business got killed off by the recession and an employee lawsuit. Since then they've moved across the country and tried to start life anew. They succeeded to some extent, since they're not poor, but their upper middle class lifestyle is definitely a thing of the past. Person 1 spent most of his teens expecting that he'd be getting something like a Porsche as a graduation gift, however that never came to fruition for obvious reasons. Person 1 uses his car to go to school and for hanging out with friends. Due to his health problems he had to stop drinking and is now the permanent designated driver. Even though he appreciates hardcore sports cars, he's more of a gran turismo person, as in he prefers something that looks the business, but is actually nice and comfortable to drive in. He can drive a manual.

Person 2:

A 20 year old female, 5'6", rather short dark hair. She's a single mother of 2 kids, a heavily mentally handicapped 3 year old, and a 1 year old. She never knew her parents and grew up around some really dodgy people. She used to do drugs, but getting pregnant for the second time was a wake up for her. Since then she managed to get her life straight(ish), but she's still not very smart. She lives in a slightly dodgy apartment complex somewhere (which she cleans and maintains in lieu of rent) somewhere in a mid-size city. Other than that she relies on the state to support her and her kids. She knows nearly nothing about cars, but she considers buying one a milestone in her life. She wants a car that will be very cheap, but will also look flashy. Not being all that responsible, she's unlikely to spend anything on maintenance and will just let her car fall to pieces over time. She will probably never insure it either. She can only only use automatic gearboxes.
