The Mazda CX-9 will be out fairly soon. This means that, like Volvo, Mazda will only have 4-cyl vehicles in their US lineup. The CX-9's top engine will be a turbocharged 2.5L inline four making 250 hp (227 hp if using sub-Premium fuel) and 310 lb-ft of torque. On a positive note, the CX-9 was the last non-SkyActiv Mazda in the lineup, so whoo! By the way, I hear that Subaru has already sent in its application to join the US Chapter of the “4-Cylinder Only Club.”
