As I sit here watching some horrible Wednesday night TV I have realized that it's now only 6 weeks until I board a Jet-Plane and make my way to France to watch small men go very fast in open wheeled cars.
To commemorate this realization I thought I'd post up some of the high notes of my plan.
I'm going to start by admitting that my wife is amazing. This trip was her idea, and a surprise to me in September 2012. My birthday consisted of a treasure hunt and me realizing that we were spending a week in Nice/Monaco for the holly pilgrimage of hooning and gearheads - Monaco.
On top of that, rather than spending a couple days in a hostel and in the grand stands we're doing it in style. 5 star hotel and VIP champagne/caviar treatment during the race.
Today is teaser day - here are some shots of the hotel and where I'm planing on ruining my liver/yelling at Vettel for being rich and talented.
Staying at the Boscolo Exedra Nice...
My F1 and champagne vomit is going to cause a bit of damage in here...
Day 1, Qualifying... We're at the Hermitage hotel, overlooking a huge straight.
And that would be for race day at the Casino Square.
I'll update again prior to leaving and if I don't die of an intense F1 boner I'll try and throw up a few details during race day.
