Her work parking lot is akin to a war zone (I am extra cautious with the Paseo), but she hit a high spot and bent the crap out of her hubcap. No big deal, I popped it out. But beneath the warped hubcap hid a nice bubble in the sidewall. So now I’m sitting for some untold hours as the Discount Bois, waiting for a new tire.
She showed me the spot she hit, there’s like a pothole on one side and a mound of improperly shoveled asphault on the other. It’s all black with no definition. Seems an honest mistake, just not the best time for an unexpected expense, which is what my 2019 has been: a series of nickel-and-diming.
Huge relief that the suspension is fine and the car drives straight and true. No clunks or pulls. So it could be worse. 🙃
